The SCUP Southern Regional Council invites you to attend the 2005 regional conference at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Tampa, Florida. Tampa, Florida skylineTampa is beautiful in the fall and promises to be a fabulous location.

This year's theme "Extreme Makeovers in Planning: Does Your Institution Need One?" will explore the way institutions do business, position themselves for the future, and prepare for unexpected events. The sessions, workshops, and tours all offer an impressive overview of how campuses deal with changes in funding, academic missions, governing structures, and facility demands. We hope you will join us for the conference to better position yourself to address approaching changes and demands at your institution.

Plan to have a little fun in the sun too! Tampa is a city full of history, great entertainment and an exceptional higher education community. It is the home of the University of South Florida, Hillsborough Community College and The University of Tampa, just to name a few, all of which are engaged in innovative planning, program, and facility development. Other attractions nearby include Busch Gardens and Ybor City (great night life!).

See you in Tampa!
