Continuing Education Units
Did you know that you can earn continuing education units (CEUs) attending SCUP programs and accessing resources? It’s a great way to improve your planning skills, stay current with new ideas, technology, laws, and regulations, and maintain licensure.
CEUs are available to SCUP members and nonmembers. SCUP members can earn credits at a lower cost.
SCUP is an approved CEU provider for:
- American Institute of Architects (AIA) – LUs and HSW LUs
- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
Ways to earn CEUs:
- Attend live events
- Watch recorded session presentations and take an evaluation
Many of SCUP’s educational offerings provide CEUs, and all programs are submitted for continuing education units on a program by program basis. (Not all SCUP educational programs provide CEUs.) To determine the type and amount of CEUs a program offers, please visit the event page or the individual session page.
Event registrant access to recordings
All session presentation recordings are included in your conference registration. You can earn CEUs for those sessions at no additional cost.
- Go to the Registrations page of your account (login required). Click “View” next to the event you would like to watch.
- Click the “Claim CEU” link at the top of the page to access the quiz and evaluation required to qualify for CEUs. You must score at least 70% on the quiz to pass. Detailed access instructions here.
Purchase access to recordings
Anyone may purchase access to session presentation recordings if they were not a registrant of the original event. Cost: $35 member / $50 nonmember each.
- Recordings are available from the following conferences (more to come!):
- Select a session from a conference above; click through to purchase access to the recording.
- After purchase, access will appear on the Downloads & Streaming page of your account (login required). You’ll also find a link to access the quiz and evaluation required to qualify for the CEU. You must score at least 70% on the quiz to pass.
SCUP is an approved CEU provider for the following organizations:
