The Cutting Edge Files: The Truth is Out There! University Financing, Design and Construction in a Collaborative Environment

Presenter(s): Joseph Antunovich, Antunovich Associates; Robert Bronstein, The Scion Group; Michael Faron, W.E. O'Neill Construction
Convener: James La Posta Jr., Jeter, Cook & Jepson Architects, Inc.

Universities and colleges are taking a commercial development approach to capital improvement projects utilizing off balance sheet financing and collaborative design and construction partnerships. Through case studies, the presenters will demonstrate how collaborative financing, design and construction can positively affect a capital building program. Come explore a successful alternative approach that offers a guaranteed outcome with limited use of college or university resources, added institutional control and cost savings.
This knowledge resource from SCUP is a vendor presentation presented at the Society's thirty-sixth annual, international conference and Expo, SCUP–36, in Boston, MA (USA), in July of 2001.

Audiocassettes of this and other SCUP–36 sessions are available for purchase here.

Due to our concern for the privacy of members of the face-to-face audiences at SCUP-36, our digital archives of SCUP-36 presentations end at the beginning of the question and answer portion of each session. Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well.
