Vassar College Classroom Master Plan: One Year Later
Presenter(s): Rachel Kitzinger and Barbara Page, Vassar College; Michael Lauber, Ellenzweig Associates
In 1998 Vassar College commissioned a classroom master-plan project to guide a long-term classroom-upgrade process. Recommendations on classroom technology, layout, and finishes serve as a guideline for building projects and future work. Ellenzweig Associates completed the plan a year later after intensive fact finding and campus working sessions. Is the original plan working? A plan is, in some ways, only as good as its results, and initial good reviews do not necessarily indicate long-term success. Learn about the original classroom master plan, how it's holding up against "real-world experience," and how it has yielded unexpected results. |

Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well. |
