SCUP/AIA Awards

The first annual joint Excellence in Planning Award between SCUP and the American Institute of Architects resulted in many outstanding entries. Jeff Floyd, this year's committee chair, and Robert Simha, jury chair, will discuss the program and award winners will make short presentations. Learn about the evolution of this award program and the key issues and planning principles that the jury found compelling in defining Excellence in Planning. Other joint awards will be forthcoming.
This knowledge resource from SCUP is a concurrent session presented at the Society's thirty-sixth annual, international conference and Expo, SCUP–36, in Boston, MA (USA), in July of 2001.
