Keeping Pace with Distance Education: A Case Study

Memorial University of Newfoundland is well recognized as a leader in distance and continuing education. Maintaining and strengthening this reputation requires the development of a strong strategic plan. This session will focus on the development of a strategic plan in distance education and will highlight significant cultural and organizational structural issues that were required to implement the plan.
This knowledge resource from SCUP is a concurrent session presented at the Society's thirty-sixth annual, international conference and Expo, SCUP–36, in Boston, MA (USA), in July of 2001.
